Hamilton Co Voting Rights Ambassador Training with Organize Tennessee (Virtual Event)

The Organize Tennessee Voting Rights Ambassador Program is a statewide, non-partisan voter protection movement of community organizers, leaders, and everyday voters. The program provides the background knowledge and a peer network to empower Voting Rights Ambassadors while they advocate for voter protections, help bring down voting barriers, and encourage others to vote within their own local communities.

You will be briefed on election law, the history of voter suppression, and how to respond when voters are wrongfully denied the right to cast a ballot.

This training is for anyone interested in Tennessee’s election law and wants more tools to protect the right to vote in their community. Once completed you may proceed to our Poll Observer Training and serve as a poll observer or you may support voting rights in another way.
